Brownsburg, Indiana (March 30, 2011) – Revving up its marketing and promotional engines, Armored AutoGroup, owner of STP® and Armor All® brands, and Pedregon Racing today announced a multi-year sponsorship of Tony Pedregon’s NHRA Full Throttle Nitro Funny Car.
Pedregon, the 2003 and 2007 NHRA Full Throttle Nitro Funny Car Champion, will drive the car and display the iconic STP® and Armor All® brands in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing series. During the 2011 season, STP® will be designated as the primary sponsor at Las Vegas, Houston and Sonoma and an associate sponsor for the remaining races. Armor All® will be deisgnated as an associate sponsor for the full season.

The STP®/Armor All® Nitro Funny Car will debut at the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas April 1-3. Qualifying begins Friday and eliminations will take place Sunday at 11 a.m. PDT on The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
