Wicked Quick will sponsor defending NHRA POWERade Drag RacingSeries Funny Car Champion Tony Pedregon, who’s racing in Schucks Auto Supply NHRA Nationals July 18-20 in Seattle, Washington. The event will be shown on ESPN2.
Tony is a two-time champion: 2003 and 2007. “Tony Pedregon epitomizes the brand, ” said Wicked Quick CEO and founder Tarran Pitschka. “We’re proud to expose our brand nationally with this championship team.” Tony is a great supporter of the brand wearing it each week on his helmet and firesuit.
“From the moment I saw Wicked Quick, I thought it absolutely captured what drag racing is all about – loud, fast, exciting” said champion Pedregon. Pedregon and Pitschka have been working together since 2004.
Tony is the defending NHRA champion and quickest driver in the NHRA. He is currently in the #3 position in points and has already won three races in 2008, the last on June 29th at Norwalk.
The custom Wicked Quick/Tony Pedregon collection of graphic-based tops is sold trackside in the Pedregon merchandise trailer at every NHRA Funny Car Race.
