Now that we have our first race of the season behind us, we are focusing on our second stop this weekend in Phoenix. It’s great to see a good forecast after the wet weekend we had in Pomona. Unfortunately, a supercharged, nitro-burning funny car and rain don’t go well together. Unlike other forms of racing, we can’t put on rain tires. Traction is a key to success in the sport of drag racing. Can’t forget we need traction to slow down at the end of a 300-mph run.

HOLA TONY
Thanks for the Blogs T.Ped. Really nice to find a little bit of NHRA nitch on the web. When will you run a Mexican Scheme on the car or at least the flag. It was always cool to see you and John lineup with both flags. What is Frank up to these days ? Always thought it would have been something to see all three of you battling Force.
N.H.R.A. Racing the way it’s supposed to be !!!!! Tejas out.
