So I will start where I left off from the last blog with fishtails. That was a hint of the special themed car that we did with Nitro Fish, which is an apparel brand that is very popular in drag racing. But under the skin it’s a Quaker State car and we were able to continue the performance that we pulled out the previous weekend in Chicago when we won.
I think the momentum is good and it did move us up to first in points. I would love to hang on to the top spot, especially going into the countdown, but the reality for me is that my goal is to be in the top three and we’re going to work real hard to maintain that. I’ve always raced with the attitude if we do our job and if the car is set up right the wins will come. So I’ll continue to race that way and I’m not going to change anything.
