The race in Denver last weekend started out great with a strong qualifying effort.
We were qualified in the No. 1 spot after the first day, but in the end we were seeded No. 2. That was another great starting position for the Quaker State car. In regards to the entire weekend, our expectations were greater as we only made it to the second round. There was a 10-degree swing in the track temperature in between our two passes. We couldn’t make the correct changes quick enough to go along with the temperature change and that may have contributed to the car being too weak for the conditions.

I have a comment regarding the comment the news casters made. Regarding giving Tony a nickname. They were saying he is staying under the radar. I would like to suggest Tony “Radar” Pedregon. Or you could run a contest online to help give him a nickname and maybe give away tickets or passes behind the scenes in the pits. It was just a thought. I am a huge Tony fan, have been for the last 11 years! I would love to hear this being used with the economy like it is to say thanks to your fans! I know for a fact NHRA drivers are more giving to their fans than nascar. Different tracks have been reducing the price of tickets as nascar has not. Thank you for reading my email.
Your biggest fan!
